Why was Fuzed IT created
The story of our start in the IT MSP world
For my first blog post I was going to focus on the wonderful service we provide etc etc, but everyone says that. So I thought I’d start at the beginning and let you know WHY we are here, with a little sales pitch at the end 😊.
I spent 6 years working for a number of IT support companies before joining a Scottish Government support programme called “Digital Productivity Lab”. This gave me the opportunity to work with hundreds of clients who had received a grant for a digital project, but perhaps the benefits of the project were not coming through. What I realised was that the ways of working I had witnessed in the companies I had previously worked in were widespread. For clients a lot of the time they were purchasing software or hardware that would not meet their needs especially when they relied on their IT support company to help them. If an IT company doesn’t understand its client’s business and operations its advice won’t be correct. Another common feature was paying for software or a hardware device that perhaps wasn’t needed or wasn’t being fully utilised as the client didn’t understand it. Lastly when something did go wrong there was a feeling that a quick “patch” fix was ok when the problem would recur or being passed from pillar to post within support and having to explain the problem time after time.
So Fuzed IT was formed to work alongside our clients as an integral partner. Before working with anyone we want to understand the business and its aspirations, not just its IT set up. We will not
simply provide IT solutions; instead, we aim to tailor our services to align perfectly with our clients' goals and needs. Our approach is grounded in a deep understanding of your business operations, ensuring that the technology solutions we recommend and implement are not just suitable but also truly beneficial.
